I suppose it is just that the snow conditions change and so most posts are useless after a day or two. This was some fine work here though milton, deserves a sticky fo sho.

Hey, just wanted everyone to know I put my snow tires on today. Don't expect ANY snow over the next couple days, especially not in the northeast.
that was a worthy bump, thanks.

Bump for the skills and daks getting some October goodness.
what is up with the jetstream on Thursday and Friday... I dont think I've ever seen that before
When the hell are these maps going to change and show some moisture for the west. This drought is killing me.
We got negative NAO...high pressure over Greenland. Good for EC, questionable for the west.

Sunday's jet stream is looking better than what it has been.
Bumping . . . just 'cause it's better than a flame war;)
To the top....
this should be a STICKY
I solved the non sticky problem by bookmarking this as my TGR start page.
Might be part of the reason for the 8,000 views...
back up links.
weather maps
good work--this should be sticky
I'm geeking out big style, good to see those Unisys maps in there.
Here's a couple more:

Looks like the NAO went hugely positive and completely jacked the weather around the planet, everything stalls and then goes in reverse. Kind of impressive.
haha thats crazy ^
whoa this is badass
awesome, better than anything else on the web
Another couple:
3 day precip forecast:

3 hour snow accumulation for the next 3 days:

I'd post the actual loop images, but they won't update automatically in the future, so the links will have to do. Good stuff though.

It would sure be swell if those two high pressure systems would hook up and hang out in the pacific for a month or four. I'm all for getting that NW conveyor belt up and running again.
Bump,
+ why no sticky??
moderators don't believe in... moderating
