Good on ya to H-Man for the thread. Lift pics are the shit, because, let’s face it… We don’t stop to set up and shoot in the middle of a great pow run. Well maybe Splat does, but he’s old as fuck and has has to pimp the photos for pass money (wink, oldster)
I usually whip out my little digi (hanging curve) and get a few shots in on the lift to try and remember the day. I love Mammy and wish I could be back there at the end of the season. Some of the late season pics that have come up recently are painful to look at.
Here’s some of my favorite Mammy lift pics from the last few seasons:

The people in the photo don't exactly look like they're tearing it up! Is one of them you, tibaher? :pQuote:

This picture was taken on November 30th, 2003. It was my first day of the season. As I recall conditions were not great!

Where? I must be missing something...
Well, it looks to me as if the chair that goes straight across the picture has been badly airbrushed out.
[disclaimer]I am not stalking you[/disclaimer]
It looks to me like the chair cuts across the sky area right above the skier. To me it looks like whoever retouched the photo tried to clone out the lift, but didn't do a very good job.Quote:

[edit: looks like I got beat by Mulletizer]
Typical. I look for a shot that includes the Thunder lift in and some fucker is trying to include it out.
1st annual Mt. Ellen classic at Sugarbush, here's some from the Summit Quad, one of my favorite lifts.

Did you need a belay for that first tee? Or was it farther down that you had to rope up?

Negative, but goofy attire was encouraged.Quote:

Oh, ok. Then that totally explains why that guy has a carabiner clipped to his backpack.Quote:

Yep, it's true. Bretton Woods now owns the Cog and 60yards +/- on each side of the tracks. They are grooming it and opening it to skiers this coming winter. They had a test/ media event this winter that some local North Conway reporterrs I know whent on. It was raining but they said it was still fun/different. Go to Bretton Woods web site for more info I bet.Quote:
