What's divider software?
I was under the impression windows could handle multi-monitor setups inherently - that not right?
I can't rely on you guys..
Of course not. Who do you think we are? The people that wrote this shit?

so it's not for adding a monitor, it's for making predetermined sections in those multiple monitors to drag your windows to, and where they auto-fill in those predetermined sections.
My monitor game with software that oddly is no longer on my PC so maybe this can help us both out.

I ran 2-3 monitors for years and now use one massive ultrawide, never needed any special software. Windows handles it all just fine, you can drag/snap to divide the monitor in half, if I need more than two windows side by side (rare) then I just manually resize them. Apparently Microsoft has a free addon called PowerToys, maybe check that out.
Hey Buster, you could probably dip on out of this and not look any more stupid, ya?
What would be the point of that?
I have goals too you know.
If I can absorb all the stupid in the room, sometimes I can learn something and help others.
Real power users always get more than 2 monitors and turn them portrait mode.

Both my PCs have multiple monitors, including my work PC using an ultrawide + second monitor in portrait mode. Agree with the above, IMO Windows handles it all just fine without any additional software.
I usually manually set my main window at 2/3 width on the ultrawide and my other 3-4 programs I need open just resized to the remaining 1/3

Works great.
Seems like a solution in search of a problem. I've been in IT for 22 years. 4 years of CS schoolin' including a year as a co-op before that. I've never heard of 'divider software'.
Haven’t used a PC since 2015 and I’m very happy with that decision. Microsoft continues to boggle my mind. Why work harder instead of smarter?
But that's canukian IT and CS.
I'm going to give aquasnap a try. https://www.nurgo-software.com/products/aquasnap
If that doesn't tickle me I'll try fancyzones.
Oh, my mistake. Fuck Ya!
I think it was more than “some”
