In it to win it - blue ice, highway closures & avy debris be damned!
Id like to take another stab at it this year. Last year didn't pan out for me.
subscribed and keep me posted
cracking up here thinking about how fun last yr was- super snowmageddon and not even sure if we can make it, snow so deep and trees so tight we were floundering in the gloriousness of the snow, the sheer amount of delicious parking lot foods was amazing.
and so fun to swing by the lot and grab a new layer, snack, bevy etc. then load up, keep the legs dancing down Nash and then zoom out the gates for some deeper snow aaaand right back to the lot
also hilarious
A woman asking me in the airport if I was headed home to see my sweetheart that night (Valentine's day)
and Me: no, my husband had to work but I'm headed to go have a ski weekend with a bunch of my online friends
In, wouldn’t miss it
Ouch.......

What’s the drive like from Seattle? Any sketchiness? What are the chances I can make it up there with a cheap rental?
Looking at flights has me pretty optimistic I can make this work
Missing again as I will be out of town. Hopefully the next one.

Maybe others feel differently but seems 70-80% of the time the pass conditions are manageable in a meager ride with fwd. The ski area is about 50 mins without traffic though there’s usually traffic in the city/airport area. I’d figure 1 1/2 hours from SeaTac.
