Mostly a teaser...
So far we skiied closing weekend at Moonlight Basin, then a tour at the now closed Targhee... no pics 'til we get back to home base. On our way to UT to ski the pow, it better happen ;)
Teton Pass was a no go today, 3-6" of moist snow over 1/2 baked schmoo...

Thats what it was like on Tom Dick Harry. Very scary how easily that unbonded stuff slid.
Now we are in CO...
A quick update since I last stopped in here.
We bailed on Teton Pass, as I said, and the weather looked like it was going to hit the Wasatch. We drove to Snowbird, and stayed slopeside for a little luxury. 14" o/n, and we managed to hit the rope drop on the "Road to Provo." Nice little resort. ;)
That night we decided to get back in the camping grove, and ended up on Antelope Island, N of SLC. That was super cool place to stay, and we stayed two nights and shecked out the bison and antelopes.
Yesterday we went for a quick walk up SnowBasin (dog friendly, as we have hooked up with friends w/dog), and got a few good schmoo turns down before driving to Moab for dinner at McStiffs. Today, a quick hike in Fisher Towers, and then to Avon CO. Tommorow, Leadville, and points beyond...

Home... tired... happy...
BC, WA, MT, ID, UT, CO, ~3000 miles + 1 headgasket blown, 9 days of skiing, some excellent powder, cool hikes, and new friends made...
