What's with the influx of female user name+number members over the last month or so.

Basically just spamming the fuck out of the site. Yea, obviously TGR needs more of the womenkind to keep KQ company but pretty sure these are just semi-well-thought-out bots. See posts by marry321 in the music, books,movies sub forum.

yeah, the bots are getting tiresome. What's most tiresome is that it's not always immediately obvious which ones are a bot, so sometimes you have to watch them and analyze their posts a bit before banning. The method that seems popular is they try to have "real" posts that don't seem spammy, then after they have a few posts they go back and edit earlier posts to include spam links. So "bots" may not be right, they may be real people in India, but they're not skiers that's for sure.
But just to correct the record, we have quite a few more real ladies than just KQ. babybear, Jax, hikesalot, 2bjenny are just a few that come to mind.
