I really like your natural takes that still seem to jump off the screen.
Cool critter.

^^^ Awsome shots! Makes me really miss my annual ski/climb Sierra trip.
These last two pages make me want to get out and shoot. Sweet pics yinz guys.
Splitter, those panos are badass. How many frames did you stitch for those? Assuming they're stitched?
I have that exact 1st picture taken over 20 years ago. Ended up having an epic on lone pine peak the next day.
Thanks. They are. Seems to be the only thing I do these days...
1. 3 horizontal images: hand held
2. 8 vertical HDR frames bracketed with 7 exposures
3. 8 vertical frames (same as above non-HDR)
4. 10 vertical HDR bracketed frames

In the past I've used photoshop for the stitches, but I usually stick with lightroom as it can handle some fairly large HDR panos and when it can't, I just merge the HDR frames and then stitch. It keeps the HDR as some hyper RAW photo file and I don't have to worry about exporting as a TIFF or something for data.

it has a double tail... the main tail is composed of ionic gas that florescences by the sun's uvs.. the less visible tail on the left is composed of dust...

Nice! Here is my shot of Neowise as well in Central Oregon. Would have liked to have a longer lens for this, but currently only have an 85.

Nice
^Nice!
I'm going to make one more push this weekend to see what I can get. Hopefully I can get a night with no clouds near the horizon.
