An epic start to bike season?
Long time, no post-y. Welcome back Shera!
I did ski yesterday, after staying away from holiday crowds over the weekend. Things held up better than expected, and I'm not completely embarrassed by one out of my 3 trips down the "zipper-line" on Spillway. I keep telling myself I need to be in preservation mode after a full hip replacement 2 years ago, but my Killington roots pull me back to the rutt-line every time!
Fingers crossed for a long/snowy season, and not too much more 1 lift/2 trail options.
Yeah I wasn't embarrassed either, but I have no shame. Chair 1, look at me! lol
Jeebus, take care of yourself! I had a bump trainer at Keystone that had both knees replaced, for the sole purpose of skiing more bumps. Doctor's advice be d@mned!
This better be a good season. I'm on sabbatical from ski school due to covid - no plans to ski on groomers whatsoever.
welcome back, Mir - tj
( check out Djongo's threads about JHMR and always (Little) Big Lost's 'pic or two' thread ( WildFire duty late this Summer )
You have been missed Here -
Good luck on the Divide - Please Be Safe ( snow safety and corona-/covid )
miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiircat!!!!
hi mir
I will check out the pic or two, I think I have lurked that amazing thread in years past. JHMR sounds interesting, I've been lucky to ski some sweet powder there in the slack...
Have fun, be safe, that's my motto! :)
Mir in da house! Whoa this thread is like a flashback to 2004/2005.
Hope all you OG maggots are still crushing it!
Pm Rontele, he just started a similar thread https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...d.php?t=338114
Good to see you around here
welcome back mir++++
Whoa, blast from the past, welcome back!
Kind of weird and perhaps related (maybe you're diving into social media all over the place?) but you showed up on facebook as a suggested friend (we have a lot of mutual friends) the last few days.
There was a short period of time where people were complaining about lack of snow, crowds and traffic, but that's all over now.
