Just bought some V8 spicy hot and it says "DEC 18 208" on the lid.
does that mean its good till 2008?

common sense says yes.
all food/juice goes bad eventually. check the expiration date?
Found another date on it. Its good till 2008.
chug the can and let us know if you get sick.
if you are concerned about whether its safe to drink, take it back to the store you bought it from. Based on what you posted, it sounds like it's potable and expires dec 2008.
btw, that is the perfect base for a solid bloody marry. so get yourself some potato vodka, horseradish sauce, ground pepper, worcestershire and celery and make me a drink :smile:
V8 and tequila w/tabasco is a favorie of mine after a hot day of work. Kinda like a tquila ceaser made with v8 instead of clamato. I call it a Victor Ocho.

It's really hard to tell if it has gone bad. But this is what I have done in the past:
1. Open cap
2. Sniff content
