it's been a rough month in the local paddling community on the south yuba. a few weeks ago, Tom Meinholz died in an accident at his home in the canyon. http://t-dawgspeaks.blogspot.com/201...VRpNLrkkJNH8SH. on sunday, sean manchester died paddling the river. sean was the special ed director at the local high school. i'm posting this here because some mags may know these peeps. i knew neither one, but have many friends that knew both and are pretty devastated.
