Heading up to Bachy tomorrow with the wife. Look for two tele-freaks.
Oh it fast & firm today. Late pm it softened a little. Riders of the Corn.
Slow thaw at Meadows today. Fun snow on early HRM then afternoon cascade, no lines. Sun came out too!

Does bachy allow 1 extra rig per camper? How many are RV'ing in main lot? This could be the event that finally forces my hand on a camper.
^^^ Anyone know if Bachy allows free-standing fire pits for RV guests?
Bachy camping is easy. Fire pits OK. Usually 1 rig per camper but nobody is counting. Bathrooms open all night.
Perfect.
Re: Bachy mini-summit: I have a friend with a couple free passes and 6 $54 passes. If anyone needs a hookup, let me know a few days prior, and I'll see what's still available.
Great meeting and skiing with you and your son Undertow. While extremely fast and firm, it was a good morning! Your son is tearing it up. Enjoy your trip, and hope to see you next time!!!! :)
See all you Central Oregon folks in a couple weeks at BBI 17.3 @ Bachy!!!
When is the image for this thread for the mobile app going to update?
nice, undertow
Can a Bachelor local explain to me how NOAA is showing above freezing temps for later this week and over the weekend but with snow. Heading over Friday regardless I am just curious as to what my true expectations should be.
Not sure on the forecast, guessing it will probably be rain. Perhaps the air column above is cold, and it will fall as real wet snow, but not very accumulating in nature.
With regard to biking, east side and low trails I am sure are very good to go. Phils trails area apparently is good low, but if you get up much above 4k, snow on the trails. As of today:

COD is excellent up to the new forest building. Marvins is excellent. Lower phils below the chicken is excellent. Snow as they MTB split on Bens. Kgb though from Marvins side to the chicken is excellent. Snow levels seem to be about 42-4300 feet.
Personally, I'd bring the bike, and also the ski's. I am betting there will be a decent window for spring turns at some point. I AM bringing the bike for BBI 17.3 next weekend! I may bring the golf clubs too and attempt the trifecta!!!!
Anyone else just get so spoiled by all the cold smoke that they can't even be bothered to head up for anything else?
