I'll be looking to do some car pooling this year. I'm weekends only though. This 9-5 gig cuts into the skiing. I'm over by the UofC. Keep me posted if interested in hooking up for some turns.
Hey Mex - will keep you in mind. I don't normally ski weekends because of the crowds but if we could do some Back Country stuff I would be game. Lets keep in touch.
Citadel here so both on way. I've always had a SSV pass, last 3 years, but this year went for RCR, though will get Sunshine card for some days. I can make it up for some mid week if conditions are good.Quote:

Keep me in the loop. Backcountry is good for me. might have a sunshine pass this year, and I've got a few tickets for the Lake.
You going to be skiing at the Lake this year Doug?
Checked out Rae Gl on Saturday. No pow, but all the wetsnow's capped all the rocks, making for great spring conditions on all the steeps. Even the morrain was ski-able. Temps went up to the mid-teen's, but the upper stuff stayed wintery.
Anyone else got info on the other glaciers around?
Nate
Wow, I have to move up north! I want snow in September! :frown:
Yup, after 3 years of a SSV pass went for RCR ( not just LL but Fernie too)for a change. Though will get SSV and KH cards also.Quote:

Excellent! More turns in September.
Rae sure has filled in since August. Here's a pic from Aug. 21, a week before the first big snowfall.

Could be a lot of good turns up there before the road closes in mid December.
Wow, that's some impressive coverage for just a few weeks in September.
