To be used for in-bounds skiing... traversing w/ skis on pack, slack-slackcountry, etc. So needs to not make lift rides miserable.
I can't find anything inspiring. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money because it's just going to get beat to hell. Thoughts? What do you use? What are you selling?
Not selling it cause it gets used all the time, but check out the Osprey Karve 11 if you can find one. I use it minus the waist belt and super easy to swing on and off for the lift

Only downside is the ski carry straps are removable so I’ve had a few cold days reattaching them while getting blasted with wind on the ridge.
These are nice but a little warm. Our daughter says you’d better be a pretty good skier if you’re wearing this in the resort. I asked if I’m good enough and with out hesitation, says “just barely”.

I’ll 3rd the vote for mystery ranch. Made in Brozeman. bomber. Had the saddle peak one for years. Foolishly sold it. The D-Route looks similar. Get some.

Mystery ranch sold out, no longer made in Bozeman. The droute is made in the Philippines, but it's still legit.
Blue Ice out of Chamonix makes good little packs, can't think of the name, but I have a 20L that is awesome by them.
I use the dakine vest occasionally for LCC sidecountry. My only complaints are it is hot to hike in and it doesn't carry heavy skis nearly as well as a pack, but for 15-20min jaunts its fine. So much better for lift rides/skiing than even a small pack too.
Dakine Poacher vest is nicer than their Heli vest.
Old US-made MR Saddle Peak is a lot like a small Blackjack (but without the airbag) and carries great, if you can find one. No idea how the new Saddle Peak or D-Route compares to the old Saddle Peak, anyone have experience with both?
I have a BCA from about 2008 (Stash Pack, I think). It might have 2 days use. Too small for me - barely room for shovel/probe. PM me if you want a photo. $7.50 + shipping?
