Why don’t you take it up with Brian Olson, engineering geologist with the California Geological Survey and tell him he’s wrong.
We think about it.
Our 10 gallons of stockpiled water won't go far, but the river is a 30 minute bike ride and we're at 620 foot elevation 20+ miles from the Puget Sound. If the house falls down, we'll have to make do.
The PNW is home to me, never fit in anywhere, found a place here. Love it on evenings like this with a cool breeze, reveling in my luck.
