Using the non-afterbake , I expect to re-apply snoseal every season.
I usually put my gloves on a piece of 1x in the oven so the leather doesn't over heat at the contact spots . At low heat, it probably doesn't matter, but that's what I do.
It is so easy to do and the can lasts forever. Doesn't bug me in the least.
You might find snoseal at your local bi-mart, walmart, or coastal farm/ranch (or whatever farm supply is nearby you)
Last container of SnoSeal I bought came from Fred Meyers, but that was ~5 years ago.
Nevermind...
^^^^^ me too, but just seemed like snoseal should be easy to find. Apparently it ain't so no mo.
Beeswax
gave in and ordered a 2-pack of 7oz Snoseal cans.
What model kinkos can you Snoseal? All leather only or like the insulated leather/canvas ones too?
Need to replace 10yr old gloves, and as I've gotten older, I like buying non-ski specific gear.
I have the leather canvas pairs and have baked them several times (low temp @150f) with no problems. Do the same with my Free the Powder mitts and gloves and they turn out real nice. Bake away.

My bald friend gave me his hair dryer years ago.
Re-cooked my kincos yesterday. Slathered with snoseal, into a 200 degree oven (on a piece of foil with the vent fan turned on) for a couple of hours. All soaked in, no residue, nice patina.
Couple hours!?!? They only need to be in about 5 minutes to soak in...
Please one of you "chefs" with a sous vide please snoseal some kincos in a controlled temp water bath.
