Oh yeah, love YLT. Been a fan since the early 90s.

Mann’s version of “Blinded By The Light” has been playing almost weekly on the in-store playlist at my summer/fall gig.
Additionally, it was the first version of the song I ever heard as it was religiously spun on FM Classic Rock radio when I was growing up.
Sacrilege as it may be, I prefer this version to The Boss’s.
At any rate, I figured it was high time I checked out the album on which it is included.
This album is deep with cuts.
And the whole Prog/Classical/Jazz Fusion/Arena Rock vibe is sweet.
Definitely gonna pick up some more Manfred Mann joints.

The Kinks so often get lost in the mix between The Stones and The Beatles…

Kinks. Absolutely. You really got me was a single in the summer of 1964. The Beatles were still singing I want to hold your hand then. And can’t buy me love. Pop to the Kink’s Rock.
Holy ish this album is DAF!

Lotta years is one of my favorite Aesop tracks. Sub two minutes of absolute bars about feeling like an old fat fuck.
“Supercell” is my jam off the album; that bassline!

My buddy had listened to some in-depth podcast about this album awhile back and had been looking for it.
We found it at the local record shoppe in downtown Truckee, Rock Cellar Records, yesterday and slapped it on the platter in the morning apres coffee.
