I am really impressed with these skis although I only have one day on them and that was with a cracked or broken rib or two (ouch!). I have been skeptical of the wavy Magne-traction edges since I first saw them on the slopes but after hearing so many enthusiastic comments from people who had ridden them I decided they were worth a try. I fully expected the skis to be good in the deeper, softer snow but was not prepared for how well they railed the soft packed groomers that day. It was unlike anything I had felt from conventional smooth edges. They provided very consistent carving while still feeling like they were locked on rails whether making gentle or powerful turns. The moderate tip and tail rocker allowed full edge contact while still proving easy smearing in softer snow. I don't have enough time on them in different conditions for a full review but my initial impressions were very positive. Conditions were 18" of medium-body powder (untracked and progressively skied out) and soft-packed groomers.
