FYI... I'm getting the 500 error when doing a search tonight.
I get he 500 error when I click attachments in Use CP.

Is there a fix for the insert picture or insert link buttons yet? did I miss it?

We have already known about this bug yes, its a bug, not feature . At this moment we are working on this issue, we will fix it in the next version at the end of February.
insert picture links work now.
