I think fastfred should have a reality show.
We are urging our cats to get into the gig economy. I can provide a reference. They have killed at least 2 gophers and 3 moles in the past month.

That's my brand.
let the terror out at five am this morning, he took off looking for the fox came back a half hour later
he loves foxes and chases them
I got busted for harassing wildlife once many many years ago
the cop was all up in my shit trying to explain it was against the law, so I called my dog he came over to us, told him to sit down and he did
the cop started tripping up on his words and wasn't sure what to make of things because the dog did exactly what I said, so I got a half hour long lecture and a stern warning, I guess they are used to dogs that don't listen at all
The moose were a fixture in the yard all spring, the terror didn't know what to make of them, he wanted to herd them like he does to small children
Speaking of dog jobs, we saw Zoot both on and off the mountain a few years ago. He seemed to be handling employment well.

SFB - awesome dog
Fastfred - pitch your life story to Discovery Channel please. I don’t watch much reality tv, but I’d certainly watch your show.
Best gig for dogs is chasing geese. Going rate is $100-$150 an hour for a handler and dog in many areas.
That happens to dogs, sure, but when you have a 120 pound dog, ha, what do you do? You can't carry it out. And when you have a 120pound GP, it only makes it one mile before collapsing, classic!
Mine is about 90 with another blown knee this month, It's kinda brutal carrying it up stairs these days. I feel like I'm gonna blow out my back or my knee any second, never mind hiking a mile with it.
Not just geese...

Had a problem with geese crapping on the back porch at a house I was renting, so I sicced my dogs (a dobie and a lab) on them. The geese chased THEM down. Turns out I raised dogs that were pussies.
well, geese are mean motherfuckers, I'm not surprised.
Big gander came after my shepherd one day at the park. Lucky (ultimately for the goose) she was on leash, as she was not at all pleased with his attitude.
I've done it multiple times. I generally get my puppies is early spring or late winter and bring them to work with me. I leave them in their crate and check in on them multiple times throughout the day to let them out for a potty break and to play play with them a little. When it gets too warm in the car they stay home in a crate while I'm at work. My current puppy is 6 months old and he started staying home at about 4 months or so. He hasn't had an accident in his crate and hasn't developed any issues from being in the crate while I'm gone.
