I think it absolutely does. I've toured extensively on lange xt frees and xt3s but radical pros + gft blow them out of the water. Walks better, weighs less, faster to transition with hoji lock and skis just as well.

Can't compare the radical pros to hojis due to the low instep on the hojis but the fit is great for a wide and tall foot. Only downside is the cavernous heel pocket. Without a zip fit they would be un-skiable for me and I wouldn't say I have small heels.

I was previously on maestrele's but the boot got clapped out fast. I initially got the gft's in an attempt to bring them back to life but the gft's took up too much volume over my instep. Hence the switch to the radicals.

I’m toying with some nordica unlimited LT 130 and just wondering if they would ski better than my ZGTP’s.

Good to hear some feedback on the Radical Pros with Zipfits. Been eyeing that same setup for the next pr of touring boots as I’m getting tired of the Transalp Pros I’ve had the last 2 yrs.

I've been enjoying my '20 hawx xtds (grey version), used them inbounds for a season in fact. Tried intuition pro tours to get a more touring oriented setup after I got hawx ultra s for inbounds duty, but didn't get along with that setup so was touring for a while with inbounds liners... Not ideal. Finally ordered the new Atomic mimic xtd liners and only have one day on them but it was 3k+ vert unbaked and they felt amazing.

I got to try the radical pros on a short tour at the Blister Summit and they worked really well considering they were just thrown on and taken into the bc. Def have my eye on them for the next boot after my xtds kick the bucket, unless something better comes along.

I've had radical pro's now from last season. Walks great, skis great. With normal touring skis no problems. I bought Scott pure 109ti pro 190cm and mounted with duke pt:s for sled skiing and side country. That ski is stiff enough, that when driving ski to turn over 70km/h speeds, I can feel boot bending from sole. So it has it's limits too.

There's one big problem though! Hoji lock is eating through liners while touring. I had to order custom liners from Palau with hard side panels to make it work for me. I have Radical Pro's also as rental boots on my operation and some customers have had same issue with hoji lock creating pain while touring. So something to consider while trying the fit, especially if enjoy weight lifting and have some meat around your bones [emoji16]

Another point for the Radical Pro + ZF GFT, seems like a holy grail touring boot for larger individuals. Looks like the inner boot is not even bothered about the walk-mechanism on the Radical.

Coming from a ZGTP with Intuition Tour Pro, the Radicals forward flex feels a tiny bit softer, but they're more progressive than the ZGTP, which at times felt a bit pingy. Torsionally the Radicals seems to quite a bit stiffer than the ZGTP, which had noticeable twisting feel on the soles. With the GFT the heel hold is incredibly good.

Alright, it's time for some beta on the Nordica Unlimiteds, who's got time in them. Might need to replace my XTD 130's and thinking this might be the best option

Cochise with powerwrap liners is around 1800g and absolutely belongs in the discussion. Definitely feels like an alpine boot. Good power, stiffness, rebound and absorbtion.

Cochise with a fat Luxury Liner for me. Very happy with that.

They feel like the cochise but you can get them lighter. Forward range of motion isnt the best, they generally just ski like most of the boots in this class which all feel kinda meh to me.
