^Anyone got any ideas how to keep this one on the hook for a while?
I've learned to hate Craigslist. 95% of the people on there are total flakes.

ask for naked pics of the Sister
I don't think she's sending the pictures. apparently at some point she forgot she said it was for her sister.
I've sold 2 cars on Craigslist in the last 5 years, so it can still be pretty useful, but in the process I had to sort through so many scammers and vultures (like offering 10k for a car worth 17-18k) it made the whole experience feel like a lot more work than it should have been.
I did sell the tires via craigslist. everything else went via facebook and here. from craigslist for the laptop i got about 4 scams, one offer for $350 when it was advertised at $500, and one guy that was super pumped about all the bartering he's done since watching Barter Kings, he offered me a Rockstar Barrel Cooler.

You think a Kayak is bad, try a Canoe. Very few understand the creep factor of being in a canoe in Tahoe with wind. The other side of the lake starts to look like a good idea. You end up just thrilled to get to shore!! anywhere! who cares if your 5 miles from where you need to be. your on land!!
Awesome, except for the fact that a Heptathalon includes 7 events...
:)
While you were engaging in the Tahoe Pentathalon, me, Vets, Gone2Alpine, and 2 of his friends decided to summit Mt. Lola. We presumed an easy approach (it usually takes 45-minutes), but were thwarted by two downed trees blocking the access road and then copious amounts of snow--90% of the trail was covered in the white stuff resulting in a 3 hour snow and bush whacking approach. Our labors were paid off in full with some glorious corn runs, including a sweet chute overlooking Independence Lake. Add to that the ability to ski all the way down, which knocked our 3 hour approach into a 30 minute descent, and it was a good, albeit long day of hiking/skiing. Full TR no doubt forthcoming once Vets weeds through the pix.
^^^ Or a short TR is at UnofficialAlpine.com. Surely Vets will be better :)
I swear you can see that patch coming into Sierraville from Loyalton. Spied it Friday on the way to the hot springs and told the gf, "I know some guys skiing that sliver of white right about now..."
Looks like someone brought the Big Stick...

I'll try posting this again (It seems to have dissappeared from the first time.)

In the Tahoe area?
Spent the day poking around Castle Peak. My initial intention was to hit this east facing strip of snow you see from I80 when you're headed west. Once up at the strip I decided to hike to the ridge and look over the backside. I discovered a cache of north facing chutes still holding solidly, so I skied two of them (I counted 7 that went top-to-bottom) and then hiked back up and skied the strip on my way back to the trailhead. Good, supple corn with minimal suncups (what ones there were I easily smeared over). 7.5 hour roundtrip. Not too bad of a Wednesday.
ssshhhhh
Dude, I didn't mention any names! Besides, that place was ruined by the innerweb 10 years ago.
Plus, I'm pretty sure he meant Bridgeport, Maine. Didn't you, Nuthon?
