Yup, one is broken
Shimano Deore Crank, right? Not sure on the letters. I always thought RD in Shimano meant road. Don't know what PG stands for. The only issue you would have is if the cranks are made for different length BB spindles. I'd just try it see if it works. if it doesn't either it will be too close to the frame or sticking way out.
Anyone with poor chain retention on the SRAM X Sync 2 chainring? Never had a problem with NSB chainrings on previous bikes but new bike has this SRAM ring. Lost a chain at least 6x the last few weeks. This is new bike/new drivetrain.

How’s your derailleur clutch working? Chain ain’t too long?
Good question, I’ll check the clutch.

Which "type" is the clutch on the rear mech? Older type 1s or 2s that I had would get smoked in very short order.
Make sure derailleur is tightened down to the hanger
SRAM/Shimano SS shifter cable vs Jagwire shifter cable. Anyone have thoughts?
Thinking about buying another shop box (aka File Box).

This is my favorite cable for my shifters:

Yea, I’m not psyched on paying considerably more for cable. Shimano & Sram stainless cable works really damn well.
Edit to add: the best shifting and most reliable cable is the one you don’t hesitate to yank out and replace as soon as it’s gummed up or frayed.

So I have 12 speed nx eagle 11-50 with 30t in the front
Want a little more low gearing
Just go to 28t is stupid easy $75 and done
Option one is pretty easy with ethirteen hive 10-50 and go to 28t sheds weight and a little lower gearing for around $350
Option two is more expensive by going to GX or X01 10-52 and maybe leave 30 t
Likely $500
The deluxe is new 10-54 but requires a crap ton of upgrades - uh I have to sell more skis and don’t like this option

Ya, mine won’t work, the chain line would be off.
You need a SRAM DM (direct mount), Boost spacing.
The boost spacing puts your ring 51mm from the center of the bottom bracket.
My suggestion fir a 26 would be

28T doesn't need to cost $75 either. SRAM steel chainrings are under $20, last forever, and only a small weight penalty vs the alloy chainrings.
If you think the 28T won't give you enough, and you want an alloy chainring, you could try an oval 28T. Supposedly the oval shape helps.
Any reason why you can’t use gravity bleed technique on hydraulic fluid brakes? I just bled some Shimano brakes with mineral oil and it’s sooo easy and thought why not do the same on my sram (with hydraulic fluid do course).
