TR: Stowe March 3-4
First TR, so bare with me.
My buddy and I rented a condo at Stowe for the weekend. We drove up friday, as we neared the mountain, it began to dump. I had heard about snow showers, but nothing like white out conditions.
When we arrived it was a nice 15 and snowing

We went to bed early that night as we would be getting up at 6:30 to get on the lifts, and it was gonna be a pow day.
I work up probably around 5 and couldn't sleep. I was filled with excitment and coudlnt' wait to shred. After we ate, i had to go clear all the snow off the car.

After that was done, we were obviously stoked and ready to shred 2ft of pow

The drive to the lift.(Only one lift was open, everything else was on wind hold.)

We took about 5 runs, Pow was knee deep in spots(Sorry for lack on action shot on day one, I was so stoked, i said fuck the camera, and just wanted to ride)
After that i decided that we were going to start hiking for untracked runs. Somehow we ended up hiking the up the chin. We met some locals on the way up, who showed us around. We crested the peak of the chin, and faced 60-80 mph winds blowing us backwards.
Starting the hike:

Some drifts were waist deep;

And it only got deeper from there.
The Chin:

After we got out of the thick tree cover it got pretty nasty, but we continued on.

After we got done exploring the peak, we slogged through the woods in chest deep powder until we found a doable line through the thick trees.(Deepest pow i've ever ridden.) It felt good knowing that we were up there alone, and we were the first to hit it that day. (i heard it was tracked out by the next mourning on the chin)
After that, we were both exhausted, we went back to the condo, and i never ate so much at one time. We both took a nap, and headed out for a few more runs later that day. We then ate dinner and both passed out until the next mourning. We woke up around the same time, got ready and hit the lifts. Many lifts were still on wind hold(which sucked) But the weather was clearing, and the winds dyed down later that day. We stuck to the woods mostly on day 2. As we are both powder whores.

We found this nice little drop:

There 2 trees directly in front of you as you landed, so i was sketched out, and just straight aired it.(not really a drop but steep enough to boost off of.)
We rode in the woods all day
