Best Cottonwood Canyon lesson for 3 1/2 year old
So my 3 1/2 year old boy has been doing pretty well in these hybrid day care / lesson programs they have in Vermont. Basically they are a full day daycare with a one to 2 hour lesson in the morning and afternoon, length depending on how well the little groms are doing with the weather, paying attention, etc.
He's done 4 days now and is having fun with it, the other day he told me he didn't want to go to regular school, he wanted to go to ski school. Dad understood and was proud.
I was looking to see if there is something similar or other options available at snowbird, alta , or solitude. If anyone is familiar with them, which program for the 3 year old set did you like the best.

When my son was 4, I took him on a trip to Snowbird with me and his godfather.
I thought the Snowbird ski school was great. He had a lot of fun there and really improved over 3 days. The last afternoon he finished his lesson up at lunchtime and we skied mineral basin and did a tram lap together.
As well as the instruction being very good, I think those three days really helped him develop a love of the sport and the mountains, as well as giving him confidence that he could get down something that initially looked a little scary to him. He's 6 now, and last month he hiked and skied Highlands Bowl with me. Those three days a couple of years ago definitely helped set him on the path to be able to do that.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Snowbird ski school for younger kids.

Yep...he also thought they "had to smoke."
One of his more brilliant observations.
