Ski Binding spring question
Sorry to beat a dead horse again, but after researching whether or not it is okay to max out your DIN, the most intelligent argument against it is that your spring becomes weak over time thus limiting the lifespan. Now I don't necessarily think it is a good idea to max out anything for an extended period of time either, so I side with those that say don't do it if you don't have to. Anyway, this got me thinking about overall maintenance of the spring itself, and if it would be a good idea to lower your DIN to the minimum during the off season to give the spring a break (regardless if you are maxing it out or not). Does anyone have thoughts about whether or not this is sound advice, or just a bit obsessive?
