Armada ARV vs AR6
This weekend I took a really nasty spill (tomahawked about 200ft and broke a ski in half). So thinking about new skis for next season has turned into a necessity.
I'm debating between the Armanda AR6 and the ARV. I'm an aggressive skier (a former racer so i like to go fast). I ski the whole mountain, and am an east coast skier. Snowshoe is my home mountain (it's better than nothing) and I ski at least once a week, usually more. I ski groomers, ice, slush, and all the other awesome conditions you get on the east coast. I want to start riding more park (I've been working on 360's and such this season) but I still want a ski that can rip the rest of the mountain.
From what I've gathered the AR6 is a park ski that does well on the rest of the mountain while the ARV is an all mountain ski that does well in the park. Does anybody have any recommendations or reviews?

The AR6 is stiffer and skinnier. The ARV is a floppy noodle. I would say the AR6 is better in almost all conditions except soft snow (some pow). If you like to rip on hard pack, hit bumps, and don't ski much pow the ar6 is not only a better park ski, it is a better all mountain ski.

If your looking at the AR6 also check out the Pipe Cleaner for an all mountain ski.
Im not 100% sure if current gens are the same but the PC, with almost exact same dims as the AR6, came out with a slightly stiffer flex(and more pop) than the AR6 and had a better base(and edges too?).
Ive had many friends who really liked the early PCs for all mountain use and they said it handled speed and chopped conditions better than their AR5s(predecessor to AR6).
