Hey man,

As far the the NE is concerned you cannot really go wrong with Northern Vermont. Basically Jay, Smuggs, Stowe, Mad River Glen, and Sugarbush are all fun steep mountains. I would rate Stowe the best of the bunch not Jay. I am a mad river skier though(Stowe is too pricey) Killington has some good terrain but has the NY thing going on. Most places south are not so good except for Magic which is lots of fun, check the snow though.
