So without DST it would be light at 3:45 a.m. You'd want that?

I'm with old goat on this one. I'd much prefer light in the evening to light in the early morning when most of us are still sleeping.

He'd be a good choice. Vader is a strong leader. Just the kind of guy Trump admires.

Speaking of that, there's also a button to switch between mph and kph (it's a digital speedo) which is handy when I drive to Canada. Something that...

Trump must have watched "Starship Troopers." When he saw that shower scene with the men and women all showering together he was like "we need that."...

I bought a new car last year and a feature I like is the proximity locking feature. I never have to even take the key fob out of my pocket. The doors...

I don't mind the chirp. It's the ones that honk the horn that annoy me. And the people that have to hit the lock button a few times to make sure it's...

Ooh thanks for the rec! I just finished a book and haven't started a new one yet, so this is good timing. Another cool reference, especially if you have Netflix, is to rent "On a Clear Day" about a laid off, kind of hopeless family man who swims the channel. Good flick, even for non swimmers (bf enjoyed it).

I'm considering trying to do it- summer 2011, if you want to join? I just emailed a boat crew to find out about reservation process. Think about it!

There are about 12 members of the swim club I'm looking at who have done it, so there should be some good potential mentors. Will keep you posted.

Hey, out of curiosity, have you ever considered swimming the english channel? Was reading this guy's account and thinking about you:

He's in the swim club I am thinking about joining out here, that swims in SF Bay.
