    Cody,
The Cochise are my business partner's and he hates them. The CRJ's I bought off the board last year and didn't work to good in Stowe. The Rocker 2's are mine and I really don't like the way they ski mounted with Dukes at -3, I feel totally dis connected from the ski. As I can't seem to give the CRJ's away since they have been drilled twice, I figured I would cut my losses and take what I can get. I got the Salomons in a barter with a big ski shop, so it's not like I paid retail.

hey I know there is a 12 page thread on this but...I'm thinking about the rocker 2 as a ski to take on a 4 month valdez/haines girdwood touring sled/access trip. on paper this ski looks oriented towards playful jibbing in deep snow, but then I see guys like Henrik Windstedt charging lines with them. what are your thoughts on this ski? do you use it mainly for jibbing and rely on a ski like the el dictator for big days? It looks like a charger that can jib, but that seems like a contradiction to me.....
    thanks
  3. Hey why, the bib is indeed a shell. Much thicker than your typical Arc'teryx type shell but still a shell at heart. There isn't any added insulation nor interior mesh. Hope that helps and thanks for the Arcade buy. Have a great winter man.

Cody, Question on new sideways bib. Is it shell? Is it lined with mesh? Does it have the 60g acriloft insulation? Need a good bib with more warmth than shell. Can't find any info on net or in the article in powder. Thanks and love the arcade belt, very stretchy.
  5. STH 16 or the most ideal is the STH 16 Steel. Could be hard to get a hold of the Steel binders but EVO gear supposedly just ordered a batch.

alka - great info and thanks for the advice - any preferred binding on it?
  7. Hey Tag, I'd say the line is probably your best bet. I've mounted 2 forward on one pair and liked them, but mounted my recent pair on the line and like them probably a hair more. It's a classical charging ski that benefits from a classical mount style. Have fun and have a good winter.

Alka - just bought a pair of the el dicatators. They are used and were previously mounted on the line with a 317 mm boot (previous binder was the look pivot 18). any advice on where i should remount?

    Thanks middle it is
  10. Forward line. But I like jibby spinny things too. It feels a bit too far forward at times so to a more everyday, wanna shred everything skier, I'd recommend in the middle of the two lines if you like forward mounts, or right on the back line if you're not worried about swing weight and flippy, jibby crap.
