On my spooned Lotus 138s I just trimmed the skins to not cover the beveled part, like thejongiest described. Works fine.

Yeah, those dual AFDs are sloppy. The rest of the current design P14 is pretty solid otherwise, and newer ones don't have the sliding AFD.

Schwalbe sold (sells?) rebranded Stan's that they dyed blue. Maybe it's that?

I just use a 26x1.5 tube for the spare. Butyl tubes are stretchy, I've used 'em in 29x2.5ish tires just fine.
