Hey, I wrote that right after I woke up. Our host won't be touring at all (long COVID remnants) but my travel partner and I are planning touring days. Once we are in Japan we should have a better idea. I am guessing after Feb 5 would be your plan? That timing should work for me

We may be, we are staying with a friend who is planning some of our trip so I can't confirm for certain but I would be interested.

Would u be interested in hooking up for some ski touring in tokachidake at some point? It’s not to far from Furano but is considered a high quality ski touring zone.

I will do my best to let you know how things look in Furano. If we head south I will message you. We are back to Canada on the 13 but I think we will head to Tokyo on the 11th

Im headed out early next week. Niseko/ Otaru than finishing up in Asahikawa on Feb 5th. I will be running solo after Feb 6th. Probably head back home around the 13th. Not sure what I’m up to for those final days but I will be Looking to ski as much possible.

hey weibo, found you in an old thread from somebody looking for Jasper beta. that's what I'm after too - just moved to Edmonton, be here for 2 years (so much for Revelstoke!). Anyhoo, wondering if you've got any advice on the hill/town in general, and touring as well. got three days there this week during reading break, so probably mostly on-hill and slackcountry this first visit. The dog's coming too, so we're hoping to do some near-the-road touring turns on our way into town before our first night to give him a good run. Thanks in advance! Maybe we'll see you up there
