    Hello,
    I recently saw a post you posted awhile ago saying that you had the BD kilowatts and the ft12 and did some ski touring.

    That's my current setup, but I was debating about going with a lighter ski because that setup seemed heavy for my goals which include high sierra touring in spring time. Although, I'm more of a basecamp guy, then a Trans-Sierra guy. Anyway.....

    I guess I just wanted to know if you thought the BD's were too fat for spring conditions and long slogs. thanks,
