Not a minor, late twenties male, live in Seattle. My bad for not replying sooner. Did you guys make it out? Are you planning on going out again? If so, I am definitely interested. I know the concept (have read several books) but not comfortable with just that even before the Avi class. Want to learn as much as possible and practice ASAP.

sorry, ASL is age sex location. It doesn'tt really matter though, as long as you aren't a minor(liablilty issues). I had to cancel myslef out of this saturday. Forgot it was the NWAC(north west avi center) summit this weekend.



I am going to try to replan for sunday. it doesn't matter that you haven't had practice with your beacon. It's pretty simple, and we could go over everything. It would probably be better for you if you got the basics down before your avi class.

I am a little thick so you'll have to let me know what ASL means. I have skied close to 30 days each of the last two years at Baker, Alpy, Crystal, Steven's, and Whistler. I may be interested in the Beacon practice but while I have one it was purchased late last year and I have never used it. Is that lack of experience going to be OK or are you looking for practiced searchers?
