Thanks my friend! Any info you think is important I'd appreciate. Toss in a pic or 2 if you'd like, but don't go out of you way. Did you run the shuttle to the Portal Creek Trailhead? Is that the primary end point? About how long did the car to car trip take...10-12 hours? What are the necessities that I would need to take? I'm about 2 years new to riding the more technical trails and love it. Everything I have done so far is solo. I don't know anybody around here that rides. Last fall i did Hyalite Peak and that's when I discovered the Gallatin Crest Trail. I have recenly done Emerald Lake and Garnet Mountain. Looking to do Mystic Lake and Blackmore here soon as well. The Crest seems much more in depth than these other rides so I'd like to be preparred.
