nice one dude, sounds like a good time- chinese downhill or classic freeride comp type of deal? will give those touring bindings some thought- turns out the skis i won are 184 lps not 187 xxls so maybe i might just throw the at bindings on them...

viz was kinda wierd today in val, almost all of the good stuff was almost permanently wrapped in clouds while the rest was bluebird, so we lapped the steep 'mini ak' face in between borsat and tommeuses on the val side which had excellent snow, then rallied on over to fornet in the afternoon when the clouds took over. fun day all in all!

i'll give you boys a shout when i'm back in a week or 2 and we'll go for another shred!

The comp today was intense but we got some great snow and some new descents, and the privilege of being literally destroyed by a guy who could have not been taller than 150cm riding 194s. Fun day had by all, but can confidently say I dont think my legs have ever been so close to combustion in my whole life, safe to say I'll sleep like a fucking log tonight. Take it easy man.

hey man, i am in tignes (val) thurs thru sat/sun but had/have no plans to ski the comp... i take it it's the grand raid you're referring to? not really my style, it looks like there might be some pow to be skied instead... if you feel like going for a ski on the friday if conditions are good then send me a text at 06 43 53 25 52
