Richie Schley

the guy kills it on a mt bike, was the canadian national bmx champ at one point, and is always popping up in ski mag photos.

Isn't this guy also a pro snowboarder/competitive mountainbiker?

I remember him riding films like Ride to the Hills etc.

Some video clips (did a quick google search):

It's easy to see the connection between the sports..the only thing I really wonder is that how these kind of guys' bodies can take all the abuse, year round!???

i think South Lake Tahoe's Shaun Palmer can definitely be categorized as a successful crossover athlete. i think i remember one year he even won the X-Games SkierX... and his background is in snowboarding.

Richie should move to Utah, he would fit in just fine. (and could train in Virgin for the Rampage year around)

I hear palmer was even talking smack about making a 250 main....

edit just checked his site, looks like he has an AMA DNF to his credit. still pretty impressive really.

Will is a big MX guy, yes.

Our own str8line is not to be trifled with on two wheels, from what I hear. He's okay on boards, too. ;)
