My friend and I did a girls (and dogs) -only ride on Fisher Mesa on our last trip to Moab and I finally got some pictures. (We never seem to stop and take pictures when the guys are with us...) It's just a relatively short and easy out and back, but it's all singletrack and the views are spectacular.

At an overlook with our dog:

Nice pics. That 2nd pic looks like something Bender would huck.

I remember those 3 dogs.;) I bet the trail took it out of them, for awhile.

I like taking pics on a ride. I can use it as an excuse to catch my breath.

Unfortunately, it's such a long drive back into town, they were pretty much well rested by the time we got back to camp and had plenty of energy to stalk lizards all night... ;)

Also I enjoyed riding that old bike of yours so much, that I went out and bought another bike for more XC stuff. I bought the Weyless XP Pro when they had it on sale, and I love the weight. (or lack of it);)

I've just got to get use to the smaller tires. The uphills are great on it. Now I don't have to look for just DH trails all the time.:D

It's nice having both options, huh? Flykdog was telling us about your new Weyless - it sounds sweet. I've been drooling over those Juicy brakes - nice to have the adjustment options right there at the levers.

You'll have to join us in Moab again this fall - your new bike would be perfect on this trail - it has some sections of rocks/slickrock/roots (just enough to stay interesting) and other sections where you just wind through the trees on beautiful buffed out singletrack. (Plus it's up at elevation so it's much cooler on this trail than it is down in town.)

Yeah, I have to bring my digicam home from work. I'll get you some pics of the skis tonight.
