Ok, let me give you a little story just to set up the question. So im riding up at tiger mountain today and go to manuel over a big rock/log in the trail and after down shifting i hear grlunkcasfds and my bike wont peddle anymore. As i look down to see the carnage that has take place i find my chain on the grond with my rear derailer still attached to it and i assume that this isnt suposed to happen. After dismounting and inspecting it further i find that i sheared the bracket that the derailer is attached to. Now keep in mind i have had this bike for less than a month and have never crashed on it. And this happened almost exactly in the middle of the ride about 6 miles into about a 12 mile ride so i hade to walk it for about six miles. And i was about as hot as an ant under a magnafine glass.
So right now im wondering to myself what the fuck? I assume that this isnt suposed to happen and it doesnt usually. So now the question is do i take the bike back and try to have them fix it? Will they fix it? Because i have only had it for a month for crying out loud.
