I can assure you that ( me + my pathetic biking skills + those trails ) means crashing is about all I'd be doing

I'm happy to say that I'm fortunate enough to be able to not crash on those all summer

besides....if the pix come from someplace called 'gutsploder.com', I don't think I want anything to do with it. :D

Woodlot Gold, at the Woodlot. This logride is composed of 2 very long logs 6"wide, which turn onto a ramp that corkscrews up a huge stump, where you either drop big, medium, or ride a ramp down. It's also the very first part of the trail. Good warmup

Giant Killer, at the Woodlot. Fun one in the wet

More stoke, from one of my favorite trails, CBC on mt. seymour. Amazing stunts and trail work in an old growth forest. Also the most popular trail on the shore.

Nice pics. The shore has been great the past couple of weeks. Dry and grippy. I'm out there most weekends and at least one or two days a week after work. My after work ride consists of grinding up the seymour road and then hitting Corkscrew, Pingu, Boogyman, lower Pangor and Empress. Tons o' fun.
I'm on a hardtail myself. I remember all the old days of riding the shore on XC bikes as well (grew up in the Cove). Bikes have come so far since then....

You have no idea how much i envy you. I would like nothing other then living in one of those big houses on the river road at the end of neds. We should hook up for a ride sometime this summer. I go to the woodlot a lot, but need to get more up to vancouver and squamish, and vedder!

PM me this summer when you're up for a ride sometime and maybe I'll be free to hook up. Takin' my bike to the Cove tonight for a new headset, but hope to maybe ride on Sunday again.......

The pic. with the gap on the downslope would make me question my sanity if I ever attempted that run. I am scared just looking at that picture. Some serious stoke received. Now I have to push the limit this weekend, but nothing like that shot.

note to self: smoke crack first then post.

If you watch bike movies, check out north shore extreme 7 or rise for the rest of that stunt. You have to ride a bunch of ramp work that gets kinda skinny with a teeter before the teeter drop in the photo. as you land, you immediately do a big step up jump onto a ramp, then peddle really fast to make a 6' gamp in the ramp, and the keep your speed up for the step down gap at the end. It is a goal for the next 2 summers fo sho!
