yeah, it is nice and peaceful in hear.

A question for the other bike freakos: Anybody know when "Back in the Saddle, Again" is supposed to come out?

It looks pretty good (http://video2.nsmb.com/pist-n-broke/nsmbbits2teaser.wmv)

Also, all you Maggots near Whistler, is August a good time to come up and get the DH freak on?

I, too, am enjoying the calm in here.

Those pics and the video trailer . . . . I don't ride like that. Not even in my dreams.

Aug is a great time to hit up Whistler, as is right now. The bike park just opened last weekend.....The riding on the North Shore has also never been this good this early. We've been having a very sunny and warm spring...

Back in the Saddle 2 is premiering on friday (may 7th) so you shouldn't have to wait too long after that to get a copy (hopefully)

Anytime is a great time to be up at whistler. August does get very dusty, and the braking bumps... Still crushes anything you have access too though :D

sunny and warm spring = bad bad bad. remember last summer? Ahhhhhhh! Skatepark/Urban is for the winter, not the summer

Yeah, White Chocolate, I saw that right after I posted the question. But I still couldn't find when the DVD would be on sale.

And I know it's better than what we have here, that's why I'm planning the trip. Thanks for the info. You willing to show us around when we come out?

I don't suck that bad.

Another good day to hang out on the Sprocket Rocket forum - too much hate and discontent in the ski / Snowboard forum for my tastes.

My thoughts exactly. I'd post another pic, but I think someone just spilled a few gallons of lacquer thinner in the HVAC ducts here at work.

some scenic stoke

Moab:

Standing on top of that big bluff you look up at when you camp down Kane Creek road past Amasa. If you look very carefully in the middle of the pic you can see a couple red trucks - that's our camp site. Cool old mining road (very steep) to get up there. Friend of mine in the pic

I've been too busy with rides, finishing school and videogames to be around. First time I've even logged on in like 2 weeks.

Now this looks more like the type of terrain I ride except take away the mountains and replace with smaller bluffs. Also take away the lake and put in the Missisippi River. Oh and except for at the top put trees where the open field is. Come to think of it maybe it isn't that similar except for the difficulty.

Some of the park type trails that are pictured in this forum would be fun to try.

Grange, where are you in WI?? My dad's family is from up that way, usually go out to LaCrosse and the Cities to visit them and my little nieces every year. Be cool to hook up for a ride, usually I'm dying to get some real exercise when I'm out that way.

I moved to Eau Claire just over a year ago. not much for trails right here, but lived in La Crosse for several years and rode the trails quite often. I don't poach trails anymore due to my job, but La Crosse has a few legal trails that are every bit as good as the illegal trails. I still try to make it back down there with my bike when I visit friends or if I am down that way for work.

I'd be up for a ride around this neck of the woods sometime. Hell one of the trails is next to a white trash campground which can be interesting.

Grange - sounds interesting, I'll look you up when I'm back out that way (sometime this summer likely, but I have no idea when).
