Fools Topple Oregon’s Iconic Sandstone Pedestal, Say they’re Doing World a Favor

According to KATU, some shitty humans who were apparently dropped on their heads when they were little purposefully knocked down “The Duckbill,” an iconic rock formation at Cape Kiwanda on the Oregon coast.

Their reasoning? Their buddy broke his leg because of the rock, so they were doing the world a favor.

Punks, you’re idiots.

Oregon State Parks say the fine for destruction of a natural resource is $435, plus criminal charges.

But are harsher consequences needed in order to quell this asinine behavior? There’s a boob trying to build a gondola in the Grand Canyon, one beachgoer took a seal seal pup home in her shopping bag, and a clueless out-of-towner put a baby bison in his car. That’s just the short list. This shit’s got to end.

The person who took the video didn’t catch the vandals. They’re still on the loose.

Some Facebook commenters say the dude filming should have put his camera down to stand between the scumbags and the rock. He told KATU, "I kind of laughed to myself ‘cause I thought there was no way they could knock it down, but then I noticed it started wobbling, so I started to record.”

Oregon folk, keep your ears and eyes peeled.
