RSVPEvent Description
Jackson Hole has been a huge part of TGR's DNA since day one, and so there is NO place that we would rather unveil our new ski and snowboard film, Almost Ablaze, to the world. But that doesn't mean that we can't change things up - our lives (and yours) revolve around the outdoors, and so what better way to show the movie than under the stars and in the shadow of the resort we call home.
Join us on Saturday, September 13, in the South Village lot in Teton Village, to catch Almost Ablaze on the huge screen outdoors. Gates will open at 6:00 with awesome tunes from Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons, beer flowing from our friends at Snake River Brewing, food trucks, live music and more, with the movie starting shortly after sunset around 8:00. There will be a TON of prize giveaways from all of our sponsors, including skis from Atomic and Volkl, TNF jackets, Sony Action Cams, and much, much more, and a full cast of athletes signing posters and dishing out high fives. This show WILL likely sell out as it will be held in a confined area and so buy your tickets in advance before you miss out.
Bring your camping chairs, jackets and winter stoke but please leave the coolers, backpacks and dogs behind.
As always, 100% of the profits from this event (including from beer sales) will go to support local causes. This year's beneficiaries will be the JHSC Freeride Program, the Friends of the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center, the Doug Coombs Foundation and the Snow King Sports and Events Center.
After the premiere, the official TGR after-party at the Mangy Moose will feature nationally touring electronic music duo ODESZA. Hailing from Seattle, ODESZA has been blowing up the festival and concert circuit and is poised for a huge breakout this year. After-party is sold out!
TGR is also running a silent auction to raise additional funds. Thanks to generous donations from our partners at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Snowtrekker Tents, we have two JHMR season passes, a spot in the Steep and Deep camp, and a Snowtrekker Tent all available for you to bid on, with proceeds from the auction going to the local charity partners.
