The TNF athletes have spent like 5 years helping develop the Steep Series line, of which the Brigandine kit is a part of- so I love all of the pieces in the line because they have essentially been custom built by all of us to have the perfect fit, perfect pocket configuration, zipper configuration, etc, with the right specific details that you want but none that you don't.

I love them because they are a hard-charging, fast ski, with traditional camber under the foot but still some early rise in there so they cruise in pow too.

My background in racing makes it so I need a high-performance, 4 buckle boot. This one is as good as it gets without having to wear a cold, narrow plug boot, and it's fit is pretty amazing out of the box.

Super easy to travel with- you don't have to worry about canisters; easy to pack up after deployment and you get 4 deployments on one charge; one charge lasts all season. It carries a BD shovel and probe, and essentials like paracord, my headlamp, and layers.

It's made from sheep's raised in California using sustainable land management techniques that help trap carbon dioxide and enrich the soil, so there's a lot of cool things going on behind the product, as well as it is large enough to go over sweatshirts, classy and still comfortable for traveling and being both in cities and camping trips, as well as durable. It's my newest go-to.
