Photo Saga: Stoke the Fire World Premiere

The week started off with TGR athletes and partners reconnecting in the Tetons for some much-needed mountain time, exploring our local zones on foot and on bikes, before heading to Teton Pines for the annual TGR Tee Off golf tournament. Saturday morning brought around an absolutely stunning Wyoming sunrise, before giving way to moody skies and some perfectly tacky dirt for bike park laps at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The grom squad and local riders came out in force to join TGR athletes Cam Zink, Kyle Strait, Darren Berrecloth, Parkin Costain, Kai Jones, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, and KC Deane for party laps.

After a late lunch, some refreshments, and maybe even a quick nap, the crew returned to the lawn in front of JHMR's Walk Festival Hall for poster signings, photo ops, gear giveaways, live music from the Deadlocks, and lots of libations from Sierra Nevada and Tin Cup Whiskey. While the family-friendly 2pm and 5pm shows played to a socially-distanced crowd inside the theater, the energy was building outside for the 8pm late show.

When 8pm rolled around, and seats were filling up, the energy in the room was unmistakable. Two long years of waiting for a real ski movie premiere were over and Stoke the Fire was about to begin playing. But first, as is tradition, the whole crew of athletes gathered on stage for some epic prize giveaways, including skis from Atomic and Black Diamond, subscriptions to OnX Backcountry, coolers from Yeti, apparel from The North Face, and lots of hats, t-shirts, and buffs from TGR and Sierra Nevada.

Then the movie began. With non-stop hoots and hollers, a thumping soundtrack, and the sound of stoke filling the air, it was a sight to behold. There's just something about a stoked crowd that gets us fired up for ski season.

The best part of the whole night had yet to begin, though. Just because the movie was over didn't mean the fun had stopped. As the screen was rolled up and put away, some very special guests showed up on stage: Portugal. The Man - on stage to play an intimate hour-long set.
