Family Dinner: What It Takes To Make A Segment in Alaska

A years-long TGR tradition has always been sharing stories, insight and a delicious meal at a Family Dinner during every shoot. Cooking a meal, cracking a Sierra Nevada, and sitting down together at a table to enjoy a homecooked feast is the perfect opportunity for our athletes and crew to connect about the epic days they have shared in the field. It’s a chance to swap stories, download some local knowledge, and coach the next generation on what it takes to be at the top of the big mountain skiing game. This year, Tim Durtschi, Nick McNutt and Parkin Costain cooked up a storm in the form of a fresh-caught Alaskan crab dinner – and took the time to reminisce about an insane few weeks of riding for Magic Hour.
