Tourists are the lifeblood of Jackson, pumping much-needed dollars into the local economy as they cruise through on their way to witness nature's glory. As much as locals bitch and moan about the resulting traffic and crowds, Jackson wouldn't exist without the migratory summer horde. That said, tourists occasionally forget that nature can be dangerous, as evidenced by the widely-reported annual injuries caused by a variety of animals and landforms.

While he is best known for his bar graphs and pie charts, Brendan Leonard has put together an annotated guide to eight of Yellowstone's animals and landforms which could easily kill you. It's unlikely to change tourist behavior, but it makes for quite an entertaining read.
