U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced Thursday that Dunkin’ is now the official coffee and breakfast partner of the organization, bringing one of America’s most recognizable brands into the ski and snowboard world for the first time.
“We are thrilled to bring Dunkin’ onto our team."
- Sophie Goldschmidt, President and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
The partnership will support U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s 240 elite athletes across alpine, freestyle, cross country, snowboard, freeski, ski jumping, nordic combined, and Para sports. Dunkin’s logo will be visible on team uniforms and in athlete-driven digital and social storytelling throughout the season. The announcement didn't specify the duration of the aggreement.
Dunkin’ Continues Its Sports Presence
Dunkin’ is a longtime player in sports sponsorship. The coffee and donut chain already partners with major mainstream teams including the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Eagles, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Dodgers, and New York Yankees. This agreement is newsworthy in that it marks the company's entrance to the alpine and snow sports scene.
The announcement arrives in the wake of a string of high-profile deals for U.S. Ski & Snowboard, which has recently inked partnerships with J.Crew and Cloudflare.
Earlier this year, the organization signed a mega-deal with financial services firm Stifel that extends until 2034. That deal is rumored to be worth an extraordinary $100 million.
