Dramatic Footage From Helicopter Accident on Austria’s Tallest Peak

According to several Austrian news outlets, a rescue helicopter crashed Tuesday evening near the summit of the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest peak. The helicopter was called to evacuate a climber who had sudden heart problems. In this footage, you can see the patient being loaded aboard before a sudden wind gust caused the pilot to lose control. Luckily, nobody was injured in the crash, and given that it occurred at the edge of a massive cliff, things could have gone much worse. The patient was successfully evacuated by a second helicopter minutes later, and the original flight crew took the tram down.
