Does Ghosting the Boat while Wakesurfing deserve Dumb or “Damn”

If I could invite any two people to dinner, they'd be Darwin and this dude, largely so the former could explain for the latter. 

This video, where bro here ballsily abandons ship to wakesurf, leaving the wheel totally unattended, takes extreme sports to a whole new level, one that many argue is just another way to thin the herd.
