Curious Great White Hangs Around Surfers

A drone pilot recently caught this epic footage of a great white shark meandering along the coast of Tuncurry Beach in New South Wales. The curious creature gets awfully close to the surfers and swimmers, but he seems to just be checking out the local scene before peacefully heading on his way. The drone pilot attempted to warn the nearby surfers and swimmers of the shark by swooping and hovering close to them, and thankfully, everyone was safe.

While we can’t say we are too keen on taking a swim with a great white, it sure is special to watch these incredible creatures from above.
